Project Description:
To develop a niche music platform website with similar functionality as bandcamp.com.
Our preferred CMS for this would be Joomla 2.5/3
Required functionality:
Artists sign up and account creation.
Artist login to self manage their products (upload their music/albums & artwork, set sale price, view sales, sell hard copies, etc).
Artists need to be able to set a minimum price for their songs and albums and customers can chose to pay more than the minimum price.
When artists uploads Wav file, system automatically generates MP3 320, FLAC, etc.
Pay Pal integration. If possible we would like a p[oint system so the artist and website administrators can keep track of sales, what the artist is owed etc. Artists could convert their points to paypal dollars after a certain minimum level of points.
Administrator authorisation required for new artists to ensure it is relevant to the website.
We could take care of front end design.
