I have a problem with my mail server on my linux server. I already had a programmer and the hosting company take a look at it. They could not seem to find what was wrong. This is what the hosting company said. "That's even more strange. But it definitely points to something being wrong in the OS. Using the same script I used to test on your machine, I ran it against one of my own CentOS 4 machines also. It has a working sendmail binary and the proper settings in php.ini but still no dice. I can only figure that maybe somewhere along the line, OS updates caused this problem. But the problem is not present in Cent 5 right out of the box." I am using XAMPP, but the sendmail was working before. The ftp and webserver is working.
