I have a server with 16gb ram and dual XEONS, running Ubuntu 12.10 server (headless) , with some services on it.
I have tried un successfully to install virtualbox or any other simple virtualization system.
What i need from you is.
Suggest and install a free or inexpensive virtualization system on this working sever, so i can remotely create virtual machines to test software on them and then destroy them.
I need a simple WinXP PC in it, a simple Win7 PC in it, etc, I have the ISOs for the guest OSs
This machines need to be remotely used via either VNC or RDP, etc, from a Mac or PC in my LAN. The server should be able to have two or three Virtual Machines running and the same number of users connected to them.
You should deliver 2 guest VMs working, and instructions to create more by myself.
Clean the mess i left from virtual box and other VM software i could not get to work.
I will provide SSH access to the server and port forwarding for the ports you require to test the VM remotely.
