Project Description:
I have a new magento store on 1.6.2 with about 18,000 product entries. i am having some problems with search speed. i need an expert to help diagnose, advise, and help speed up the search results and search results relevancy.
Current searches take 5-30 secs. Reindexing in magento does not properly complete all the time. i need Lucene search module to be working correctly.
i have some custom work done to my template, i may need customization on my search results page to allow me to filter results.
on this installation, i have 2 separate domains with a total of 4 store views. i have the extension Blast Lucene Search installed to speed up search.
Please apply with some direct suggestions on how you would approach this project. and list some experiences that would make you a good applicant.
