Project Description:
We want a search engine to search trough documents of a private section of our website.
I have joined a screenshot of the actual page.
The website is in French, if you are talking french, better.
I was thinking of creating a database for all documents.
There would be 6 major categories to classify documents.
I was also thinking of the possiblity that the admin would be able to assign tag words (keywords) for each documents.
Also, is it possible that the search engine to search keywords into documents? The documents will be PDF and Microsoft Word.
The front-end of the webpage would be an advanced search engine that give possibility to search by the 6 major categories and also keywords. The keywords define by the admin (tag) would be prioritized over the keywords found in the document text content. The results would show all the results by row with the title of the document with his description and the download link.
The backend would have an interface to add/edit/delete documents.
To each document, we could assign keywords (tag), the major category, a title and a description.
I want someone who can work on this project on daytime (Eastern Standard Time) so we can chat by skype.
