A customer's site collects fees from the owners of a resort. The system is all set up and has been running for years. We had a server crash in March and the database got trashed. I hired someone to recreate it and it seemed to work fine. Today the manager told me that one of the fields doesn't show up in the reply email or on the confirmation screen in the website. I was poking around to see if I could figure it out and I found that the form has never written to the database. It's empty. And the missing field which is pulled from a table is supposed to get written to the database and then retrieved from the database to create the confirmation page and confirmation email. All of the other fields from the form get passed straight to the confirmations so it never mattered if they got written to the database, but the missing field somehow gets lost without writing it to the database so it's not available when the confirmations are created. I don't really care about the database for saving the records into the future. All I really want is a way to pass the missing field on with the rest of the form data so it can get into the confirmations.
I'd like to provide you with the 4 PHP pages that make up this fee collection system, and a copy of the database. If you are sharp in PHP/MySQL, I don't think it should take you very long. But it's the end result that matters not how long it takes you to achieve it.
Thanks. This is a rush job.
