I am trying to stay within a budget but this is a very important project for me.
Please do not bid on this, if you are unable to do the work or can not complete it within a decent amount of time. I had previously hired another worker on this site, but what he promised to be a 5 day project took over a month! That is unacceptable.
This is what I need.
I am using CS-Cart 2.0, the PHP based shopping cart software, and I would like for categories and subcategories to be password protected.
What this means is, when you visit a category or subcategory that I've marked as "protected", you must enter a password, to view the category and it's products.
In admin, I should be able to activate or disable the password feature, when editing each category. If disabled, the category or subcategory will post products as normal. If enabled, it should allow me a place - in each category - to key in a password of my choosing, that others will need to enter.
When you try to visit a category from the front-end, for the first time, it should show the category image, below that a warning message about needing a password and instructions on how to get it, and then below that, a field to enter the password.
If entered, products will display. If no password, they will not.
Products in non-authorized categories should also be banned from the product search feature.
I plan on naming a winner soon. It is important that you begin on this project asap.
