Project Description:
Need a script that will send email to a user when a subscription is about to expire. All data is in a MySQL database.
The first table is structured as following
Table name: idx_paid_listing
link_id link number
premium 0 or 1
sponsored 0 or 1
expire (format 2008-03-18 13:37:43)
If there is a 1 in either premium or sponsored then send an email 7 days before the expire day (customizable from text file) AND on the expire day (customizable from text file)
The script will run from CRON to check for expired listings. Since idx_paid_listing only contains partial data, the rest of the data must be looked up from a second table which is below.
Table name: idx_link
link_id link number
title title of web site
url url of website/page
email email address to send email to.
The two emails that will be sent should be left empty so I can fill in default text. However I want to be able to use the above fields in those emails and hopefully call them by using a variable such as $link_id, $expire, $title etc
It should be quite simple to do for anyone experienced in php/mysql.
The winning bidder is required to complete the project within 7 days of notification of escrow funds received. Payment is to be made via scriptlance escrow only.
