I would like a simple web application made which keep tracks of my expenses and reimbursement. The application should be written in PHP, use MYSQL database and use Web 2.0 principles. It should be based on any popular php framework, preferably Yii, cakephp, or codeigniter. Admin should be able to define users, along with what all they can access.
The function of the application is to keep track of expenses occurred by the family and household bills which come and then to reimburse people who paid for items and pay the household bills. For example, if fuel bill is paid by a family member, the fuel slip will be handed over to the accountant, who will enter it into the application. After X weeks the accountant will generate a report and also pay/reimburse the people who have made expenses. Same thing applies if the family member pays any utility bill or mobile bill. Along with that any household or utility bill that is paid is also entered into the application. With this application the expenses occurred will show and it will keep track of reimbursements and bill due dates.
The way the application should works is, the accountant should be able to enter the data such as date, Bill description, type, amount, due date, paid by. The accountant should also have an option to attach a image of the bill. Type and Paid by should also be defined on a separate table. Once the amount is reimbursed/paid, the accountant should be able to check a box and an entry to should be made which shows the time and date of when the amount was reimbursed.
