A few small tasks grouped together here. zip includes relevant files and dumps. Just rename 'members2' table to members.
Task 1 -In the file task_submissions_view.php you'll see some text that says "Download All Files", below which you'll see the results of a mysql query.
Download All Files needs to be changed to a hyperlink that, when clicked, will zip all the files that are the result of that query.
Eg: If you log in as member 1 (username and password in members2 tbl [which should be renamed to members] ), and go to my_tasks.php, then press the View Submissions button under task Id 2 (result 1), you'll see 31 submissions.
On top of these, you'll see the aforementioned words "Download All Files". This should be hyperlinked, and in this case, the clicking of that hyperlink would result in the download of those 31 submissions.
Task 2 - Security check of the new_task_confirm.php & task_submit_confirm.php pages.
These pages already include code such as ( if($typeupload_name != "exe") ) that prevents uploading of malicious files. I'm open to suggestions on code improvements that will further enhance security. This may involve no changes at all, but am interested in views.
Task 3 - Create php.ini file to increase my max upload limit.
Below is the advice I got from my hosting provider on this. Should be pretty simple, but have never created php.ini before, so not sure of any other requirements / conflicts etc. Current upload limit (default is 8MB). Am open to suggestions as to what is a reasonable limit.
"The limits are controlled by a php.ini file on the server. You can change these limits by using a php.ini file in the public_html folder (or addon domain folder) in your account, and then add the following commands:
upload_max_filesize = #M
post_max_size = #M
Simply change the # to the MB value you would like to set, for example to set the limit as 64MB:
upload_max_filesize = 164
post_max_size = 64M"
