Project Description:
Basically need someone to optimize 2 servers so they don't overload & secure against hackers and suggest tips to improve performance. They are dedicated linux servers (Cpanel/WHM/ CentOs) running some MySQL & perl scripts. The cpu is currently maxed out. Check to see why the load is high and take steps to lower the load, securing and optimizing the performance of the servers & harden against attacks.
Also need to make sure server hasn't already been comprimised/ servers were attacked prior using Linux RootKit.
Need done ASAP, must have numerous references.
