Project Description:
I am looking for a company that can build a website analytics website and backend process for us. The service will provide website owners with basic statistics and analysis of thier websites/webpages. The service will be very similar to the other free Stat counter sites on the web. You can do a search on Google to see an expample of some of these services. This will be a free service offered to websites that want to track users, see general page view stats, etc. When finished with the project we would want to retain the developer to do ongoing updates.
This will include but is not limited to:
Real-time /Historical reporting
Traffic patters,
Page Views
User Sessions
Visitor Demographics
Unique Users
User System Data (Browser, etc)
Entry Pages
Exit Pages
Visit Length
Return Visit
Visible / Invisible counter options
This project will include building the following:
Front end Website
Client page Tracking Code (JavaScript page tags)
Backend Database / Functionality
Client Signup Process
Client Login
Client reporting pages
Basically you will be building a full functional website stat counter (both visible and invisible) site. We are flexible on the development platform and database. Most of the other developments that we do are in .net using MS SQL and MYSQL. But we are open to your ideas. The system needs to be scaleable to support thousands of clients, etc.
I would prefer to find a developer that is familiar with web stats and that has done this type of development in the past.
