The basic premise is... a web surfer comes upon a site. This site offers premium content in a members area, but instead of charging a fee for access to this members area, the surfer gives their email address as payment. And agrees to receive promotional emails for access to this member's area. The surfer will then receive a confirmation back to their email address which will contain a link they must click for their account to become "active". At that point, their username (email address) and chosen password are added into the password file... and their email address is added into the mailing database. This custom version will need to handle the following: -- MULTIPLE SITES ON SAME SERVER -- WEB ADMIN AREA -- TRACKER MODULE -- MAILING MODULE I have extensive notes on each part of this program, but the 2000 character limitation isn't allowing me to put them all here. So please open up a line of communniation if you're interested in taking on this project and I can give you much more detail on each aspect of the program. ADDITIONAL NOTES This program will be running on a Linux web server, preferrably using PHP/mysql. I'm open to possibly using perl for some parts of the program as well, but I believe PHP will allow for more robust features. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). ## Platform As stated in above description, this will be a web-based program. The OS will be RedHat Linux 8.0, running Apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.3.1, MySQL 4.0.15 Ideally I would like the majority, if not ALL of the program to be written in PHP. But I'm open to suggestion on the programming platform for individual aspects of the program.
