Two parts to the project
1: Impliment a new already created UI design / template to joomla site PLUS [and most importabtly] sharpen and enhance the site to reflect a highly visual and sophisticated view of our company based on our current promotional material.
2: Select suitable e-commerce solution to sell and or distribute mobile content such as user generated JAR files. This e-commerce solution will be modified to provide SMS links to download content after purchase similar to email deivery of online software purchases.
## Deliverables
Stage 1: Joomla template and site enhancment:
We have a baisc Joomla 1.5 web site with the intention of using a template/design created by a partner company. This design has been done for us [or at least a concept] however we have limited Joomla expereince so have not implimented it yet on our site. I have been told that the current format/template is not suitable for Joomla however we have access to the raw graphics if required. The current live tempate is still custom, nice but basic.
We are a mobile phone software company with a speciality for mobile publishing and porting Flash applications to iPhone. We want to send a strong message of mobile excellence so looking for a sharp and visual site to reflect this but using some of the very nice plugins available / suitable for a visually represetnable site like ours.
As a considration we would also like to be thinking about keeping the site mobile ready. For this there are tools/processes I have already played with and can advise on as it is not at all dificult ??" especially to someone with strong joomla background.
Stage 2: Support user accounts / ecommerce for mobile content + SMS download links [link email but simplified and sent as SMS link]
Further to a basic Joomla web site, we also want to distribute mobile content at a later date [ie. mobile jar files] and build in the abiliy to sell or provide free this content. We want to be able to not only email customers but also SMS [we did this previsouly with a simple mod in ZenCart]. I am happy to consider different cart solutions with guidance. I am interested to know if Versatile from [login to view URL] might be interesting.
As a side, we have a FaceBook service that allows users to upload photo content that can then be converted into a mobile phone photobook application. At present we automatically upload this to the users Nokia's MOSH account so the user can push the content free to their mobile phone via SMS [Note this is not as difficult as it sounds]. We would prefer to be able to provide this CMS service [like MOSH] and SMS link feature directly as part of our site using a suitable ecommerce solution.
I will provide UI design and elements for template after further discussions with prospects.
