Project Description:
This project is an add-on to an existing website and online corporate management system. There are previous projects already installed that are similar in nature to this current project. The chosen programmer will have full access to our existing systems to analyze and learn from currently running programmes to assist him/her on this current project. Implementation will be setup via a sandbox staging platform for testing purposes so current data/systems are unaffected. Project is considered complete once the sandbox version is deemed fully operational without errors or bugs.

Introduction
Project fulfilment is based upon 3-parts:
i. a production portal (a form to add data)
ii. a database archive (to store collected raw data)
iii. a KPI dashboard (graphical evaluation of the raw data).

The best way to explain this project is identical in nature to the QC reporting feature already installed, i.e. a FQC form front-end and a 2-part QC archive & QC Report Dashboard back-ends. I have attached an Excel prototype that I hope makes the spec self explanatory and more convenient for execution and implementagtion..

Overall Goals of the project:
• To measure the production output of each department after every shift
• To measure the productivity and overall performance of each department
• To measure the productivity and performance of each worker in each department
• To improve management of capacity planning
• To objectively calculate output productivity against capacity & actual demand

Support Advanced Decision Making:
• To quantify if a 2nd night shift work is required to meet demand. Or when switch is required.
• To clarify if a department is currently under or over-staffed
• To accurately notify HR to hire more or reduce workers accordingly
• To inform department supervisors about their overall department performance
• To objectively establish department and worker performance matrices to support performance related bonuses

Front-End Part I:
Daily Production Output Form- a designated supervisor will enter each departments output at the end of each shift. The department, shift, number of workers and total quantity (cards) will be recorded and saved.
Notes: Offset printing, Silkscreen , Collation, Lamination & Punching departments will enter in sheet QTY, which will be automatically calculated into card QTY once the sheet layout (x-Up) is entered.
Personalization, FQC & Outsource departments when selected will just need to enter in the card QTY.
Failsafe for incorrect form fulfillment- Submit & Save buttons should not be active unless all "required entry" fields entered correctly.
Save Button is to override data already submitted to correct/update an earlier submission.
The final design should be similar to as previously produced project- QC Report, but this is flexible to account for any unique features.

Back-End Part II:
Output Portal Archive- is a database that stores entries submitted from the portal.

Back-End Part III:
KPI Dashboard- 37-point KPI view
Department and Date period (up to 12-months) selection boxes to be submitted prior to opening dashboard (as in QC report).
Notes: 21-point summary box and (up to) 16-graphical multi-line/bar charts.
Line trend charts for up to 12-month period.
Some periodic tweaks may be necessary to fine tune our equipment and labour capacity limits- if somehow add a menu to allow an adminsistrator to edit the fixed constants would be appreciated.
Minor update to QC report required- to add extra fields in the summary box.
In case there is too much graphical data it may be wise to have a selection menu so the user can choose which KPIs to be displayed
