We are looking for a simple workflow to create, authorize and fulfill purchase orders within the company using Lotus Notes and Domino 6.
The NSF should contemplate that there are THREE kinds of P.O. and that there will be two authorizers (We need to manage roles in the app.)
The workflow is quite simple: any user can create a P.O. Once it is created the program should send a mail to the authorizer, with a link to the application so he or she can click a yes or a no, and a simple text field with comments that can be sent to the buyer (in case of authorization) or to the generator (in case of a denial).
Then, the program has to send a mail to the generator with a link so the generator can know about the status of his/her PO and another mail to the buyer, so the buyer can follow up the PO and change the status once the items have been bought. Everytime that the PO status changes, the generator has to be informed with an e-mail (and a link).
The PO should handle a status for each item. As you can see, the workflow has THREE roles: generator, authorizer and buyer.
The three kinds of PO we manage are attached as a file. The file is in SPANISH, but basically it should be transfered as a form with three options: Equipment, Project Hours and general purchases.
The NSF should be in English. If you need help to translate the spanish forms into English I can send a translated copy.
