iPhone app for manage events with GPS positions

I need an iPhone application for manage the events near the GPS position of the user.

Need to manage:

- the first page with a list of nearest 8 events to the user + filter (by date and by event type)

- page to show all events near the user (+ filter)

- page to show all location near the user (+ filter by type)

- page with the detail of the event

- page with the detail of the location

- update page for update (download) the DB and images of the location (and settings information: number of miles for calculate <= value for the event and locations to show)

- inormation (about) page

manage an external file for save the label text... this will allow to apply differents languages files in the future

I need an application for show events

each event has:

Date Time

Title

Description

Event Type

Location name

Address

ZIP code

City

State

Phone

Mail

Location table linked to the event

Selecting date (select only single day) and Event Type (disco, sagre, feste, concerti, sport, all ... for each record I will save these single words for identify each event type in the event table's "type" field .... note that "all" insn't a event type ;-))) but the default selected item for show all events) ..... with these 2 filters I will show top 8 events and using link "view all events" all events for the selected day/type (show all events type if I've selected "all" type)

I think that the pages/areas can be this:

- the first page with a list of nearest 8 events to the user + filter (by date and by event type); show: number 1,2,3,4,5... event title, distance in km from the GPS location of the user

add this 2 filters:

1) Event type (a combo for allow user to select the event type to show .... or show all events type)

2) Date

in this page add a link "View all event near"....

- page to show all events near the user (+ 2 filter) ... the "near" range is set in "settings" area: show near as <= 300 km (for example)

- page to show all location near the user (+ filter)

- page with the detail of the event; show: image of the location (only if the event is linked to a location... many could be not linked to location table and will have only the location field filled ... not info about the linked location), event title, distance km, address, zip, city, phone, mail, description

show a button "View Map" for view the google maps location of the event (this feature, and only this feature, require network access)

- page with the detail of the location

image of the location, address, zip, city, phone, mail

(this a new db table)

- update page for update (download) the DB and images of the location (and settings information: number of miles for calculate <= value for the event and locations to show)

2 links:

"check for DB update" ... load from my server the DB updates (new events and location): I suggest to keep only the events for news days and delete old events on iPhone (NOT on the server DB)

"check for new images"... load from my server the single image linked to each location

Please note that the application will work without internet connection on each iPhone; only update and view map features need internet connection

I will develop the PHP web service for create the XML file for update iPhone DB (events and locations) using something like this:

I've created a log table for save information about each iphone app sync... using DevideID I will know each update of each iPhone

Please note that for the text label you have to use an external file (text file) where save all label informations ... in setting area we will have to options (ENT or ITA).... and will be load the right text file (for assign the right to all labels)
