Hi there,
I am a freelance photographer and looking for a utility that will generate a set of static HTML picture galleries.
For this you point the utility to a source directory with images and it will generate an HTML gallery structure in a specified output directory.
Preferably ImageMagick is used to handle the images (resize & stamp).
A document with specifications is attached.
As deliverable, a script is preferred over a compiled application/executable but both are acceptable.
It is acceptable to have requirements for installation of ruby/php/... to run scripts.
All requirements to run the utility shall be clearly documented.
The utility shall run under Win7 (WinXP compatibility is appreciated)
The utility shall be used to process thousands of images at once so performance speed is of utmost importance.
If you know certain requirements have a large impact on performance speed without much added gain you are much encouraged to let me know and I may agree to drop them.
Besides the requirements several restrictions/requests are included based on the solution I have in mind (as a former sw engineer).
I don't consider myself the expert so whomever is bidding is encouraged to provide a better solution to fulfill the requirements together with explanation.
The attached specification also includes a few optional functionalities, please include in your bids which ones are included.
Delivery latest March 24th, preferably earlier, earlier delivery bids will be preferred.
I am available during development to help clear up unclarities and other issues.
