Project Description:
Hello,
We need a web developer to integrate a simple CMS to update several sections of an existing site. The site is www.bookmakerssuperfund.com.au
We are open to suggestions on what platform to build the CMS on, so advise accordingly. PHP would make sense, but again, please recommend based on our brief.
The sections that need to be managed by the CMS administration are:
News - client needs to be able to add new and edit news articles. We need an auto-archiving feature to work for previous month's updates. For longer updates, we need a 'snippet' of the article on the news page, with the ability to click and read the article in it entirety, much like a blog post. Other options must include spelling check, ability to add images if required.
Monthly Crediting Rates - client need to be able to update this monthly. Will need the ability to create a new table each financial year (July) and archive the previous year's one. The user should be able to edit existing rates table if needed.
Downloads - functionality required to upload files and fill out information about the download such as filename and file size and date. This page will be redesigned before being provided to the developer. Client also requires the PDF conversion functionality, where they can upload a word document or excel file, and the online utility converts the file to PDF before uploading it to the Downloads section. When quoting for the job, please put this as a separate cost.
These are the 4 sections that require CSM support.
Additionally, we need the site converted to CSS XHTML from HTML tables. Again, please indicate the costs for this separately.
Lastly, we need an email newsletter signup form added to the footer of each page. This will be designed, and provided to the successful bidder.
Please show examples of similar work done and example of CMS admin systems. Also advise if you would prefer the admin site layout designed by use.
Attached for your reference is the proposal that was presented to the client, which explains the requirements in more detail.
We look forward to hearing from you
