Each background we have is coming with a standard length of 2.72m, but we want to be able to provide customers typing in their own length. That means they can choose a length up to 2,72m, for example 1,35, 2m and so on. They can choose exactly their length they desire and we will cut the background according to their size the have chosen.
We need suggestion on where to put this information on our products
Each standard background weights 7kg
The shipping of the backgrounds are made from two companies:
1. The regular Post office
Each is described in detail:
1. SENDING BY THE REGULAR POST
The post office can accept backgrounds up to 2.4m length. Every size above 2.4m, it is sent through Schenker. So if the customer choose a length on 2.3m, the alternative of the post must be show up in the checkout, otherwise (above 2.4m) it is Schenker.
Freight calculation for post:
The freight for sending 1 pcs background up to 120cm is 170NOK. This value must be editable for future changes.
The freight for sending 1pcs background above 120cm is 170 + 95= 265. This fee is only valid if the transaction (the background + shippingfee is paid directly to us.
If the customer want to pay at the post office, then there is a extra charge of 71NOK. All this values must be shown up and be editable and the interface must be easy to understand.
2. SENDING BY SCHENKER
Every background size above 2.4m, then the Schenker alternative must be shown. So if the customer choose 2.40cm, then it should be Post showing up, not the Schenker. Everything ABOVE 2.4 is Schenker.
Freight calculation for Schenker:
The freight price for sending 1pcs background (2.4-2,72) is depending on where you live in the country of Norway. It is based on the customers postal code which is typed during the customer registration on our site. The price will also depend wether if the customer has a company address or not. May be there can be a check box option to confirm if the address is company address or not. If it is not checked, the extra fee is added in the cart.
Examples are shown below. The backgrounds all will be sent out from one postal code which is permanent.
The sending address might differ from the invoice address, so the sending address is the one which is of use to be shown in the checkout.
Example of freight costs by sending by schenker to a Company registered customer. The customer pays directly to us (not paid upon when receiving it):
Customers postal code: 8900
Freight cost: 351 NOK (without tax)
Invoice fee: 87NOK
Total without tax 438NOK
Total freight price with 25% Tax added: 547 NOK
If the customer is private (not company) then a fee on 166NOK is added BEFORE the 25% tax is added.
If the customer (company or private, doesnt matter) want to pay when receiveing the goods, a extra charge of 265NOK is added BEFORE the 25% is added.

The option must be turned off/on.
When customers have confirmed the order, we want only information for the chosen shipping and payment option to be showed.
If the customer has chosed to pay us directly, and invoice is auomatically sent to him, which is marked as "UNPAID". This invoice is the same as attached. PDF order center is allready a module we have integrated in our zen cart. So we want something like that.
When we see customer has paid, the invoice is updated to PAID.
