We work with wines and we have an excel file where all the workers fill the informations about the products that they bring to the company, which will be used on the future.
Basically, we have fields where you can fill the Name, Cost, Weight, etc, and the excel's macro fills the database sheet with all the information gathered, making some math (ie: gross margins), based on some configurated taxes.
Later, this database sheet will suffer some modifications. When the product enters the sheet, it receives a status (photographed, already used, etc) that will be changed by the responsible curator of it later on.
The problem is that the excel, even on Dropbox, suffers from a lot of conflict issues and, as we grow the flow of information, it becomes terrible to use. In order to solve this, we want this whole database system to go online, working on cloud, with users and some simple permissions (Only the master can acess the configuration panel, for example).
In attachment you will find the example.
