Project Description:

I have a client who is using Joomla for a membership site. Currently we have the following component installed:
Account Expiration Control (AEC) http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/e-commerce/paid-membership-a-subscriptions/10723

My client has been pleased with AEC until they blocked eliminated the 'free' version. We are open to recommendations on other membership registration components.

Once defined, the existing users will need to be seamlessly migrated from the existing system to the new one.
