Looking for a website similar to the following custom sign design function:
Users select stencil clip art (from list that I provide), font (28 fonts that I provide), text content (typed in by customer), and positioning and sizing of all elements on the stencil blank design area just like the buildasign.com function – fully editable.
Once the customer confirms their design via a signed agreement proof (this proof should have text with legal jargon and a place for them to put their initials), they will then proceed to submit payment via our established shopping cart.
Sign ID# should be automatically transferred to the cart. Once payment is confirmed, the customer's design should automatically be saved to the site along with a copy of the signed proof form and small pixel graphic of the sign. This can be done prior to payment only if it is absolutely necessary for programming, but if that is the case, then it must be automatically purged periodically from the database if it is not ordered.
The completed graphic needs to be saved automatically to our database as a vector graphic type file at 10% scale of the actual size that the customer is ordering and then when we download it for our production process it should automatically scale it back up 90% to make it the actual size.
Upload and estimate function:
Customer can upload a vector graphic image from their computer via the upload function. Acceptable file formats to include .eps, .ai, .cdr, .dxf, .pdf, .scv, or .cdl all files must be created to outlines or converted to curves and the maximum file size will need to be 5 mb. Before they can upload the graphic, they will need to fill out their personal info.
Height and width of artwork, select from the materials types available (which we will provide), input number of copies and submit.
When they hit the submit button, this should upload the artwork, Once the upload is complete, the site assigns a unique Estimate to the filename and sends a confirmation email of their estimate details to the customer and our custom graphics department. Then it will automatically fill in a table in the sql server database that has a link to the artwork, as well as all of the information they submitted. These should be able to be downloaded from our admin panel into a CSV file that will generate an estimate form in Word format.
This will be automatically stored online in an estimate# folder for us to respond to.
We will need options to edit all portions of the above project via our admin panel which is already in use for our current site. We should be able to add or remove clip art, fonts, stencil material sizes and materials types turn a function to add color on or off.
There will also need to be a page where we can view Stencil ID#'s and specifics. From this page in our admin panel there will need to be an option to preview, and download any of these Stencil ID#'s as well as archive them.
