Prestashop custom template upgrade from 1.4.8.2 to 1.5.3.1

Hi,

First of all, this is important!! This job needs a PRESTASHOP coder that knows what he's talking about!
Your bid will be screened on past Prestashop works in your portfolio. All other bids are ignored, so only bid if you got what it takes.

I bought a Prestashop template from templatemonster which was for version 1.4.8.2 (i saw that to late!) so it's outdated. I installed Prestahop version 1.5.3.1 and I really need this theme for a client of mine.
I need help getting this template to work on Prestashop version 1.5.3.1

Here's some things that do not work in version 1.5.3.1;

Search function
Cart delete function
Cart update
Categories not showing
Product pictures not showing
Nivo slider images not showing
Footer modules misaligned
