We are looking to have a stream-lined software that would allow us to customize meal & nutrition plans for clients.
We would use this for two different things:
1. We would prepare fresh meals and snacks for clients customized to their: Calories, Allergies & Food Choice Preferences
2. Custom Nutritional Plans. Including: Meal-by-Meal Layout, Grocery List. Serving Sizes, Calories, Allergies, Preferences
Starting out just a software for internal use, however it needs to have the capability to be converted to an App for iphone and adroid easily.
We would be able to input all the clients information: caloric total, ratio (fat/protein/carb), allergens, preferences etc...We would be preparing the same recipes for everyone, modified for the individual on calories and ratios (fat/protein/carb) and allergens. The software would populate from our data base of recipes modifying the recipe to each client's caloric totals. Generating for us to TOTAL of all ingredients needed for recipes and allowing us to see each client's portion size. Easily printable labels generated from client profile that contains their name, the dish, nutrient breakdown and ingredients.
Once we create the recipes and the layout The Software should be able to customize the nutrition plan for each clients based on
- client info stored in database: calories, ratio, allergens, preferences
- meal plans stored in database
- manage client info
- manage meal plans/recipes
The goal is to be able to create customized meal plans and prepped food for client. Gather all client data, create meal plan, have all clients meal plans in software, software would portion out recipes with the inputted client ratios of fat, protein and carbohydrates. It then would create our grocery list and printed labels for each dish and each client with nutritional information for each recipe. It would modify recipes for clients with allergens or dislikes - i.e. onions or tomatoes.
1. Units: Volume and weight. Typically oz and cups/tbls/tps. Ex: Meat will be oz. Rice/quinoa would be cups.
2. Client Info Fields: Name, age , phone, address, age/date of birth, height, weight,food allergies, ingredients they don't like, fitness goal, body fat %, daily calorie needs (fat, protein & carb)
3. Predefined ratios and calculations for: marathon runner, body builder, weight loss etc, build muscle, runner (miles per week), paleo, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan etc...
