Project Description:
Developers required to develop the Academic Program Admin System (APAS) component of our Learning Management and Administrative Support System (Lemass). See attached for the description and specs of the APAS system to be developed. This is the first phase of the project which will incorporate other sections of Lemass later.
Suitable developers apart from having tract record in developing similar systems for an university teaching and learning environment must posses the following skills: (i) Web Servers: (PHP system development, administration, and troubleshooting, Scripting PHP, Perl, etc) (ii) Databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 etc) CMS (Customizing and developing modules with a major CMS systems, Joomla, Alfresco, Drupal, WordPress etc) (iii) Learning Management System (Moodle system, development and integration with Joomla-based systems; development of grading system; university admin system integration with learning management support systems) and (iv) sophisticated spreadsheet programming and application systems development skills and track-record
