I have a opencart ver. 22.214.171.124 website that is working fine right now,
this opencart is a multi vendor version. the website has a customer-support form to take the clients' requests (this form has 4 fields including paper title, authors, URL (DOI) and description)
and vendors are always online to immediately response the requests.
The requests are articles (a download link). the vendors who have access to article, must upload it first in the site, then add new item to complete its options by the article title, abstract, authors, keywords (paper citations) and also to tick the download link and so on.
Now we have created a sample item with required attributes. each time we copy this sample item and edit it to save the time,rather than inserting new item from the first. But in each case the vendor must enter manually the data from the website of that article and its really time consuming. I need two things:
For clients: I need an add-in such as EndNote, Zotero that when a client surfing the scientific databases this add-in appears beside the papers webpage. So by simply clicking on it, it leads him to submit a new request in the website (customer-support form is automatically filled and submitted for that paper).
DOI: digital objective identifier, is a unique code assigned to each scientific article and one can easily resolve it to get the article citations (attributes). alternatively it is also needed to embed a "doi resolver" beside currently customer-support form to get the paper data based on doi entered by client before submitting the form.
I need a module when he insert a new item, he just enter the paper webpage link, or its DOI, and the paper attributes are automatically gathered from its webpage (entered link) and sit in the places in item attributes or options appropriately.
my goal is reducing the requesting time for client side, and item creating time for vendors.
