Project Description:
I would like a plug in for VLC player that mutes the sound when a curse word is being said. It needs to be real time so that all I have to do is insert a dvd and start playing it and the sounds will be muted when there are bad words. The current idea is to have the plug in pull a subtitle file SRT from a website data base and then read along the subtitles with the movie and mute the bad words when it gets to them. The plug in needs to work with older and newer DVDs. If you have a better idea of how to implement this please feel free to share it with me.
