I have a group of keywords and would like to store related tweets into a MySQL database using twitter APIs.
The twitter api should include both the search api (existing tweets) and streaming api (future tweets).
The search api will get past tweets based on the search term (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/get/search/tweets) and will be used to collect tweets and store them into the database for one time only.
The streaming api will get future tweets on the same keyword. I actually found a good existing streaming api framework (http://140dev.com/) that you can use to build upon the code. The only issue with that code base is that it doesn't get keywords from a database (which is slightly tolerable) and doesn't record the keywords associated with tweets (which is not tolerable). There is even a google groups where the original author answers how to hack his code to add the second part. (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/140dev-twitter-framework/_rZP_1AvHgo)
I will need your help implementing it. Thanks!
