We are a group of small retail pharmacies
We need someone to create a web-accessible application for use by our patients and our staff.
-will have a desktop and mobile-friendly view.
-must be HIPAA compliant.
-will allow the patient to collect and retain health-related information, which would be accessible by our staff to analyze, modify and make recommendations.
-must allow for us to have user-specific logins, including administrator function and staff logins.
-will connect with our Point of Sale to get inventory, buying history, and customer information.
-will connect with our Loyalty program to track loyalty progress
-will connect with our online store.
-will eventually be ported to iOS
A NDA and non-compete must be signed before posting final details of the application
In general, the patient will be able to do three main things:
1. enter/view a medication list, complete health questionnaires, and view past consults completed by our staff. This data is to be used on the staff side to populate assessment forms and generate a formal recommendation document (pdf) that a patient can view (but never manipulate) at any time. This portion of the app is the most labor intensive
2. view our blog, listen to podcasts, and watch videos from our site
3. connect to our online store, view their buying history, etc.
Winning bid must be willing to sign all necessary legal documents protecting us
Winning bid will have set "checkpoints" where a local consultant will review the work to ensure it is being done thoroughly and correctly
Winning bid will ideally be able to support this software over the next 5-10 years and help us expand its functionality.
Winning bid must supply documentation for database design and coding.
We do have experience in the basics of software and database development, and we have mockups and rough database designs as well as flow charts for the UI experience.
