we need a website designed designed to allow users to swap/sell items on facebook or through our website. An app is also requried for smartphones to allow users to upload items for sell or swap quickly and effiecently.
Swappal functionality
Log in page: page 1
Users can log in via FACEBOOK or twitter. Swappal gets access to users, likes, email address and full name. Once they have logged in they can browse, however they cannot start swapping unless they have agreed to swappals terms and conditions. The user interface needs to clean and cluster free and simple to navigate. We need to ensure that user experience is maximised by not putting too many rule and obstacles in the way in order for users to swap. User experience needs to be similar to facebook therefore the user does not need to do too much learning on how to navigate and to use the site.
Wishlist: page 2
The user is now prompted to create a wishlist of items they like to own. Swappal makes recommendations based on the users likes, I.e movies, music, pages, etc. A wishlist consists of categories and subcategories. A recommendations is make to the user based on the users likes of pages from facebook.
Open a garage: page 3
The user is now prompted to create a garage of all items they wish to sell or swap. This can be done by user uploading a photo, giving the item a name and a brief description. Swappal also makes recommendation based on what on hot demand due to what items people have in their wishlist.
Invite friends: page 4
The user is then prompted to promote their page by inviting their friends via facebook. They can be done as a message to all the users friends and a post on their wall. A one button push to all the users friends to notify them they can find out about their friends wishlist and items that they want to swap. This will need to be the stepping stone for taking social networking to a whole different level. We need people to login not just to see what their friends have been upto but more intimate items about that user such the items they have in their garage and what they wish to have. They need to get addicted to keep logging and seeing what swap request they have got.
Main wall: page 5
This page gives the user the summary of users items, page views, messages, chat, notifications, friend requests, swap requests, sell requests, users can comment, like, dislike, want more, etc
Swapmatch: page 6
This page matches the users based on ones wishlist and anothers garage and vice versa and makes recommendations for users to swap. This is an integral part of swappal, by attaining as much information about a users likes we can start to market products directly to that user via a social network.

what we require:
a mobile app that can be downloaded from the app store and google play store.
The app needs to viewed as simple and easy to use and navigate and at the same time powerful and engaging.
The app also can be downloaded from our website or the app stores.
the functionality of the app is at follows:
1:the user logs in via facebook user name and passwork or twitter
2: the app needs to notify the user that we require their location inorder to sync thier location with other seller and swappals
3:user take photos of item they have to swap. ie cloths, bags etc using the camera functionality of the app
4: give the item a title
5: state the condition, new used etc
6: brief discription
7:swap or sell offer or price
8: share with friends on facebook
now once friends click on the add, they can only swap or view the items as long as they have the app or registered with swappal.
it is important that we attain name, gender, email address and location of the users.
the users also need to provide feedback on swaps and since the post is placed on facebook with associated friends and shared aroudn the platform, we will not be asking users to pay to use the service.
