Hello - I have a virtual server in which I want Squid installed - I will install Squid with yum -y install squid in CentOS 6.4 x64bit, and I want some one who knows what he/she is doing to configure our domain so it can get cache and pass thru http and https traffic for faster load time.
I dont want to install in the same server due to configuration issue that is why I wanted to keep Squid and my main apache server separate, squid reverse proxy accelerator so if any one visit www.123.com If Squid server has cache of our website it will display quickly to the visitor who's accessing www.123.com - I hope you understand as to what I need.
Squid server is install in the same virtual enviornment as my webserver they both have IP like 192.168.1.17 and 192.168.1.21 but these local ip's translating to public IP so its one 2 one nat.
This job shouldn't take more than 1hr but I am providing 3 hrs MAX.
