I have purchased a carbon credit to make my web server environmentally friendly. Now I want to offer all my clients the ability to have a banner on the corner of their website which says "This is a environmentally friendly website" and has a logo which I had designed.
To do this I think I need a cpaddon or some kind of whm script that will be available to cpanel users - a script to run inside of cpanel where users click and they can automatically add a corner (see http://code.adonline.id.au/clickable-corner-ribbon/ for an example of what I mean) to the website account. If clients want the logo/banner on their site, they login to cpanel and click the cpaddon, but if not they don't.
The cpaddon/whm script should have a box that says "display this logo/banner on the corner of your website." If it is ticked it does, if not it doesn't.
When the banner is displayed it needs to have hyperlinks to 2 places. When people click the logo - they will go to a link that I provide for the purposes of advertising my green hosting. When people click the text it will take them to my website to show a copy of the carbon certificate to prove that they are carbon nuetral.
Inside the WHM panel, the script should give the root user the option to add the hyperlinks to where their carbon certificate is installed. The other link to my server should NOT be modifiable so that I can always have hyperlinks to my website no matter how many servers this is used on.
Also, the WHM script should provide a link to the WHM user to show where they can go and purchase a carbon credit/s. So a WHM user can install the script/cpaddon and then follow the link in WHM to buy a carbon credit/s and then once they get their certificate, they upload it to their server and take that URL and paste it into WHM.
I will provide both hyperlinks, the banner content, images and icon for the cpaddon.
I hope I explained this right. I would like the css files for this and the banner files to be hosted locally on the website of the user.
