$100-500 USD

Paid on delivery
I have to print many documents, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of a large and expensive corporate copy machine or 1MILLION dollar printer. I will buy a few cheap laser printers in the store and hook them up to my windows 2000/xp computer over usb, probably through a hub. each printer will be installed in the computer, and each will obviously be accessible from any program on the system to print, and i will just have to select which printer i want to print to, at the time of printing. i need someone to make a program which will automatically build a list of printers that are installed on the system, with checkboxes next to each one. By default they should all be checked, as this will mean they are active. ## Deliverables Then, the actual document needs to be printed to the printer. However, if the printer status in windows printer queue changes to failed or disabled, then, the printer should get unchecked and a message should come up next to it, indicating failure. the others should keep working. then, in the background you will have a very simple procedure making a request to a password protected URL, every few seconds. the url will reply with a pdf file. you will then receive the pdf file and send it to any printer that's not in a failed state. after it prints, you'll send a query to another url, which i'll give you, with a flag indicating that the document printed succesfuly. think of this as a load balanced printing program. also, make sure you try to print to a printer with the smallest amount of documents in its print queue. 1) hit url every second, get a document pdf response. each document will have a unique GUID name. 2) send the pdf file into the queue to print 3) once printer said this file is printed, send another request to the url, something like this //[login to view URL] this should scale to as many printers as are installed on the pc. no prompts, it should print straight to the default configured letter size for that printer, which will be USA letter 8.5 x 11 inches. lete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform windows 2000/xp, any language, any packages, anything you want as long as it works, and as long as you provide all the required files to recreate the environment on which this will work (i.e. jdk, vb ocx's, etc)
