When creating a .Net custom control with a property say called, 'Text2', and you put this custom control on a winform and look at the property in the property editor there will be just a single line editor for this property.

If however, you put a textbox control on the form, the Text property has a drop down icon to the right of the entry that allows you to enter multiple lines of text in.

My question is what designer attribute or editor do I need to apply to the custom control to get the same behaviour.

Thanks,

Pete.
