of the macro is to reduce a .dat file from 45,000 lines to below 10,000. Then save worksheet as a .txt file. Need to import a data file, ask user for its name. It’s a comma delimited file that loads like this. Column “A?? is the department code. Column “B?? is empty. Column “C?? is empty. Column “D?? is the product code. Column “E?? is the product description. Column “F?? is the product unit. Column “G?? is Retail price.
