Integrate Microsoft Access with Microsoft Mappoint

This project is for integrating a Micosoft Access 2003 form with Microsoft Mappoint 2004. The coder should have experience with both applications and already have a copy of both applications. A sample project has been started, including a sample table with properties to be used. The are many different way to map properties using Mappoint. The coder should use the most efficient way for mapping large data sets, with-out comprimising functionality. All functionality should be very easy to use, and require only minimal explanation to the user. The functionality should be implemented in buttons on the Access form. Not through clicking on functions in the Map Point window. For example, printing should occur from Access calling the Mappoint object, not from clicking a print button in the Mappoint contrl. 1. Print the map with a title. 2. When you close the form, it should should not show 'save [login to view URL]' 3. Display the property name on each propery mapped. 4. After you draw a shape around multiple properties, the properties that are not in the shape should be removed from the map. 5. Record the longitude and latitude of all mapped properties into the tempMapPoint table. 6. Save the map to a jpg or png file. 7. Change the names of properties. 8. Double-click a property and have its PropertyID show up in a text box. 9. Program error handling. Often, properties have incorrect addresses. That should be reflected in a boolean in the tempMapPoint table. 10. Specify what icon is used for each property mapped. 11. If a property already has a longitude and latitude, it should be used to map the property, instead of the address. 12. If a user moves a property on the map, they should be able to resave the new longitude and latitude back in the database by selecting the property and pressing a button on the form. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
