We're looking for a job management database. Comprising of a few tables of data such as clients, suppliers, and line items that make up a job, along with a status bar that gives an overview of a job progress, and printing of reports for internal use.
We would like a modern but reasonably clear interface, and have drawn up a suggested specification, we would like to include some '2.0' interface helpers such as auto-suggest drop down boxes if possible.
We are considering two possible environments for development and will accept from programmers of either method before choosing a final route.
- VB & Access DB (we have now decided on a VB front end, previously we were considering offers for pc software or web platform, we've discounted web platform now.
