I currently use an applet-based menu for my website [login to view URL] It was created using a trial version of the shareware software 1-Menu FX tool ([login to view URL]). The registration fee for the software is $45, and it is slow, so I am looking for a replacement. Can you create a javascript based menu with similar functionality? There is lot of public domain javascript code available to start with ([login to view URL]). There could be a separate tool to create the buttons. The menu shown at [login to view URL] should be customizable. I should be able create a file containing the number of top-level and sub-level buttons and it should create a .htm file which will contain the navigation menu. I do not want to create the menu interactively, only in the batch-mode.
