I have a VB5 application which creates an email for me to preview in MS Outlook 2003. Once I have previewed the email, I am then able to send it through MS Outlook. This is done using the MS Outlook 11 Reference in VB5.
I require the above process to be upgraded so that it can work with MS Outlook 2007 and MS Outlook 2003, as I use this application on two different P.C's.
The current code that I am using is:
Dim objOutlook As New [login to view URL]
Dim objMail As MailItem
Dim Atts As [login to view URL]
Dim newAttachment As [login to view URL]
Dim MyItem As [login to view URL]
Set objMail = [login to view URL](olMailItem)
With objMail
.To = EmTo
.Subject = EmSubject
.Body = EmBody
Set Atts = [login to view URL]
Set newAttachment = [login to view URL]([login to view URL] & "\Temp\" & EmFileName, olByValue)
.Display
End With
Set objMail = Nothing
Set objOutlook = Nothing
MsgBox "An Email Message Has Been Created In 'Outlook'." & vbCrLf & vbCrLf & "Please Click On Send In The New Message!", vbOKOnly + vbInformation
Exit Sub
