Visual Basic / Database Program

I have been assigned a project to develop some software for a dental office. I need to have a complete functional database driven program that will include billing, appointment keeping, and recording patient charts. Living in Switzerland now, they have software for this available, but the price is through the roof... i.e. too high.... If you can help, we might possibly have a great opportunity to sell this to the other dental offices in Switzerland. The program should be in Visual Studio 2005, and if possible use a Microsoft 2000 Database.. If not, then I might could work with SQL database. Crystal Reports should be used extensively for the reporting feature. I have an example program from a competitor available if you need a sample of what I am looking for.
