I need a [sample] small project on how to pass parameters to SQL Server 2000 DTS package.
Requirements: Use SQL stored procedure or VB.NET program to pass the following parameters to DTS package:
userid, jobnum, source_table, destination_table
The source of the package is a SQL statement. Here's an example of the sql statement.
Select * from [source_table] where jobnum = [jobnum]
Also, include error handling:
1. If transformation complete with error, rollback transactions and write userid, jobnum and error to log.
2. If transformation complete without error, then purge rows from source table using the following example:
Delete from [source_table] where jobnum = [jobnum]
Please use Northwind database to demo the results.
