Project Description:
Do not bid on this job if you do not have experience on web scrapping and data base developer.
We are looking for professional Data base developer that has strong skills on online web scrapping and MySQL and Microsoft excel skills
Basic Knowledge in PHP, MySQL, webscrapping , creating CSV File
Scope of Works:
1. Grab/Scrap database information from a website and save as spreadsheet (Excel)
2. Get product data sheet (product information, images, pricing etc) from client in CSV or Excel Format
3. Combine all the information together in Excel Format
4. Modify the combined information and create a new database. The new database (based on our criteria) will have the information that we need to upload on our website.
Procedure:
• As a backgrounder, we have a yahoo store that needs updating of the various products that we sell. Initially we will orient/inform you the back end of our website data base structure and discuss with you in detail what our requirements are.
• We will require the scraping of data base at least 3 websites in a weed.
• Initially, we have 25 sites that need to be scraped and 25 data base to be generated for uploading on our yahoo store.
• If everything goes well, we foresee this project to be long term as we need our website to be updated 2x in a month.
