Berghorst Enterprises (BE) is Midwest-based company, founded in 2001, providing professional property management, maintenance, inspection, and construction/rehab services to private and bank-owned residential and commercial properties. Currently using and all-inclusive approach to meet each client’s residential and commercial property maintenance and management needs, as well as providing support to a vast network of vendors, communication is of the utmost importance. Berghorst Enterprises wishes to create a communications infrastructure both within its offices and to its vendor network in the field in an attempt to continue its status as one of the leaders in technology use within the Mortgage Field Services Industry. Berghorst Enterprises sees this as a competitive advantage and as a way to expand in the future.
After an exhaustive research period, it has been determined that a SharePoint solution will best serve the needs of the company. Berghorst Enterprises requests a proposal for the following:
1. SharePoint Employee Site: This site will serve as the hub for all employees at Berghorst Enterprises. All workers will access e-mail, resources, communications, and various other items through this site.
2. SharePoint Vendor Site: This site will serve as the hub for the BE vendor network. Vendors will use this site to access work, receive communications, and view training materials.
