Project Description:
We need to integrate and design BuddyPress to our Wordpress website, which is already built on a theme.
So we want a “community” tab in the menu bar. When we click on the tab, we are redirected to a community frontpage where:

-There will be a banner on top which welcome the vistors and suggest to them to sign up via their favorite social network account or simply with their email address to be able to comment and write posts. (we will send you the banner or we will put it ourselves). (Suggested Plugins : “Social Login”, “Social Login for Wordpress”, or any plugin that supports BuddyPress)
A litle widget box in the right column could encourage them to subscribe with their email also.
-We want to collect the customer’s email addresses from that social network connect plugin for an eventual newsletter plugin.
-Each subscriber will have the possibility to complete his profile page with his/her picture and his/her description and where his/her recent posts and comments will be displayed.
-We need a sitewide forum. The 10 most popular threads for the last 30 days will appear on the community front page in a box. When we click on “all thread” at the end of the 10 most popular, we are redirected to a page where all the threads are gonna appear in a chronological order.
-Users who sign up should be authors (by default) so they are able to write posts, but their posts should only appear in the community section, not on the original home page. (We will keep the home page for us, editors of StockMarketGPS). We’d also like to be able to select author’s posts and publish them on the original home page, if we like. One way we thought to implement that : Since we are Editors, and other subscribers will be authors by default, we (editors) could have reserved Tags (or Categories) that would let us post on the home page. Normal authors shouldn’t be able to select those reserved tags or categories (or better yet - those reserved tags shouldn’t be visible to authors). There seem to be a bunch of Wordpress plugins which would let us achieve what we want, but if you have a better idea - we’d be happy to hear from you!
-The most popular user posts should appear on the community front page in a box for that purpose. When we click on “All Posts” at the end of the 6 most popular post, we are redirected to a page where all the posts are gonna appear in a chronological order.
-We’d like a side box on the right which shows recent comments (depending on the room left, around 6 or 7 of them).
-So, we want a forums box on the frontpage and a popular posts box.

We like the award system of http://www.iphoneblogger.net/

a comment could be worth 1 "StockMarket" point, and a post 10 "StockMarket point" for instance.

At the end we are gonna have to translate with you the french part but it's gonna be easy.
