Project Description:
I am seeking a talented developer to build a website for me from scratch. This may also involve co-operating with a designer, and if your work is good, may lead to long term work as I will need to update the website or add new features periodically.
The website is a directory of actors, a membership site where members can post or apply for acting jobs.
Similar sites already out there include StarNow.com & CastingCallPro.com
Membership types need to be:
Job Poster - Can create a profile and post jobs only, this type of membership is free.
Actor - When a user joins as an actor, its free, and they can create a profile, upload a photo and a video and browse job listings. They can also post jobs if they wish. They need to upgrade to a paid membership subscription in order to apply for jobs.
After upgrading, a member can also upload more photos and videos and receive feedback and ratings from the people that hire them, similar to Odesk or Freelancer.com
When an advertiser posts a job, a list of applicants is visible and the highest ranking members are at the top end of the list. If the member has no feedback rating then it is ordered by who applied first. There should also be 2 leaderboards showing the top 100 actors and the top 100 job posters,ordered by their feedback rank. This can work in a similar way to the Ebay rating system.
Must be experienced with membership sites, email systems, subscription payment processing etc.
If you are also a skilled designer its a plus but not essential, please send examples of your previous work and include the word "Pineapple" in your application to prove you have read the entire post.
Ongoing hourly work at a good rate available if this task is completed successfully.
