Who We Are:
We’re three individuals with strong backgrounds in strategic marketing, business management and cutting edge technologies. On the team we have experience in working with Fortune 100 firms as well small startups in and outside the technology space. Two of us are currently working with fortune 100 firms while one person on the team is investing her efforts full time on our startup.
What We’re Doing:
We’re currently setting the groundwork for a revolutionary shopping experience web and mobile application that will have seamless integration with social media. We believe our tool will enable our target market, mainly the young upwardly mobile demographic, to make better purchase decisions. Our application tool will be free to consumers. We are implementing the innovative web 2.0 model of offering a more valuable product at no cost to the user. In the longer term (upon monetization) we will compete with social networks, online advertisers and exclusive deal websites.
Who You Are:
We are a startup looking to build an application that can scale considerably once there are many users. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is very comfortable with Javascript, Ruby on Rails, CSS etc and who can work quickly with deadlines. The ideal candidate would have:
• 3-5 years experience with web application development
• Expert knowledge of a set of web coding technologies (front and back-end) such as Ruby on Rails, HTML/XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, Node.js/express.js, MySQL.
• Experience with highly-scalable, consumer facing applications.
• Have an eye for design, understand the importance of SEO, landing page optimization etc.
