Project Description:
I am looking for an individual, or a group of individuals, who can design, code, and maintain a high traffic gaming website, specifically dedicated for a game called League of Legends. Players will buy 'tokens' to enter various tournaments and compete for cash prizes. If you are not familiar with League of Legends, I suggest you familiarize yourself with this RTS-style game before applying for this position.
**After the project is done, you will be hired on a salary to maintain the website. Do not bid if you are not willing to be involved for the long run, however, the price you are bidding on will be for the fully functional website alone**
**This is a very advanced position, please do not bid unless you are capable of doing everything below**
The website will function as a service where individuals can register individually (linked up with a forum - preferably Vbulletin) and create or join an existing team. Users will then be able to invite others to their team and enter into tournaments based off of the 'token' they purchase. Each player will have to individually purchase a token and all 5 members of the team must have the same token to enter a tournament. There will be 3 tiers of tournaments, each with different cash prizes with various token costs to enter (Obviously the higher Tiers are going to cost more to enter). You need to be able to develop a system where individuals purchase the tokens, select which tournament best fits them and their time schedules then move the team into the appropriate bracket for the tournament (32 teams per tournament). There will also be tokens for 'Random Pick', wherein we will hold tournaments for different game-types of the game.

A system will be needed where cash can automatically be sent equally to all 5 winners of the team upon winning a tournament. I would prefer an automated system because the traffic is going to be very high. Winners will receive the cash into their account from which they can choose to have it sent to PayPal, purchase more tokens, or buy items from our store.
League of Legends is hosted on it's own servers, so if there is a system to automatically pull the winners from the database and move them forward on the tournament bracket after the game that would be wonderful. Frankly, I'm not sure if it's possible. If it's not, players will be directed to the forum where it will show their match-up and the teams can talk amongst themselves to set up a time to play. Teams will check in after the game to declare the winner, and the winner will advance into the next day. The process will repeat until a winner is chosen. Once a team wins a tournament, they will be paid out and an avatar should be given under their account name (maybe a gold star)
Each team should have a win/loss ratio by their name on our ladder-ranking page. Since players will be able to create new teams and join new teams, there should be a 'Team Ranking' ladder page as well as an 'Individual Ranking' ladder page. Their win/loss ratio should be updated on this page. (This page is not for a specific tournament, it's for the regular players to be recognized). When you click on the team or player, it should link to the biography. Each user and team must be able to have a short biography, fun facts to fill in, pictures of themselves, and other various things for people to keep up with.
Again, this will demand your full attention and mediocrity will not be accepted. I am expecting phenomenal Photoshop work as well as fully functional coding. There are more details that I need share so just PM me for any questions.

Would like to add that the visual aspect of this site is huge. You must have absolutely amazing designing skills. Be prepared to WoW me with your portfolio. Keep in mind, a requirement for this position is that you join our team on a salary basis upon completion of the website.

http://code.google.com/p/league-tools-revamped/wiki/LeagueToolsAPI - There is an existing API so pulling stats to the game to advance teams should be rather simple. Players who join are added to the code, etc, etc.
