I am looking for a complete web site similar in function to www.pricewatch.com www.pricewatch.com, shopper.cnet.com , www.pricegrabber.com , and . Specifically I want all of the features of www.pricewatch.com plus what is described below. This web site will be used for markets other than computer parts so it must be customizable.
It will support indexing, searching, and ranking of products by name, manufacturer, description, categories, and keywords. There will be facilities for manual entry of prices and information by administrators, as well as the ability to assign login information to vendors so that they can update their own prices in the database to acept facebook login also. The ability to manage banner ads, of both standard and non-standard sizes, but not pop-up ads, on search pages based on the category or keywords being viewed is required.
The web site must allow for Retailers, both those with and without login accounts, to be assigned inclusion levels detailing how informative their entries and links will be. These will range from levels that provide only the vendor name, product name, and price on their search results up to levels that provide the vendor name, a link to their site, a direct purchase link, item price, estimated shipping, customer rating, etc, and everything in between.
