We are looking into the creation of a contact manager. We do have a vision of many different parts included in the contact manager, however our believe is to start off with something basic and develop the database around our needs.
Items we would be looking for from the start include:
- Add contacts with the ability to add separate buyer and seller profiles, with basic contact info, client interests, contact dispositions, etc.
- Add business listings
- A file uploader which will allow us to all use this as a file share
- Multi-office and mulit-user capability with multi-security levels
We are looking for something custom to our needs and not cluttered with features and services which would deem to be useless.
We would be looking for a complete website redesign of our current website, and have this database work in conjunction with the new website. Our website is currently a business broker website, with multiple offices and personnel, ability to add articles in selected sections and a business search. Customers should be able to sign up with our site to inquiry about business listings. This is a business related website, so a professional design will do more justice than something “flashy” and “busy”
This could very well be a continuing project after the first version. Our plan is to work with the first version and then begin moving ahead with recommendations from our associates.
